Honor’s latest Magic7 series will feature AI Defocus Eye Protection technology, initially revealed in June. This innovative solution mimics the effect of defocus glasses by creating a gentle blur in the peripheral visual field while maintaining sharp clarity in the center. The technology has shown to reduce transient myopia by an average of 13° after just 25 minutes of screen use, with some users experiencing up to a 75° reduction. This feature will be standard on both the Magic7 and Magic7 Pro from their first day on the market.
Dynamic Display Adjustments with AI-Powered Enhancements
Equipped with advanced AI capabilities, the Magic7 series’ screens can dim up to 4,320 Hz using PWM dimming technology and reduce blue light exposure at the hardware level. The display will also intelligently adapt brightness, color temperature, and contrast in real-time, aligning with the user’s habits and actions for an optimized viewing experience that prioritizes both comfort and visual health.
